This course, designed for explorationists, will assist participants in developing map data contouring skills required to produce reliable and high quality maps in support of exploration and production activities in the Petroleum Industry. The session will emphasize the explorationist’s role as a searcher for deeply hidden hydrocarbons, the necessary positive approach to the interpretation and mapping of subsurface geological features, and the importance of constructing maps that effectively demonstrate and accurately illustrate exploration possibilities and drilling opportunities.
